Renowned
photographer Sid Hoeltzell opened his studio in Miami'sWynwood
Design District in 1990, a 2500 square foot studio/gallery/loft.
Hiscompany specializes in commercial advertising assignment
utilizing large and medium film format , fully HI-RES
digital capture and large format fine-art printing. Sid
has been commissioned for over 230 works for six ships
of the line for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and hotels.
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in
Manhattan, he subsequently became Adjunct Professor in Photography.
Sid has garnerednumerous awards in advertising and editorial
photography, including anInternational Silver Clio and eight
Addy's–most recently a Gold AddyAward for Editorial
Photography. He has photographed some of Miami'smost respected
art collectors surrounded by their personal art collections
Richard and Ruth Shack, Robert Miller, Myrna and Sheldon
Paley, and Marvin and Ruth Sackner). In addition to managing
the studio and serving an impressive list of national and
international advertising clients, Sid continues to expand
his body of fine art photography. He is currently working
on a documentary series on the Florida Everglades.
